Developed in australia in the late 90’s from the Burmilla Breeding Program. Enthusiasts decided to develop this breed separately from the Burmilla longhair by breeding back to the Chinchilla Persian. The Australian Tiffanie is a semi-longhair cat with a silky tipped or shaded coat in silver or golden, and their temperament is sweet and gentle.
