Dr Channy has over a decade of experience providing pet behaviour counselling in both clinical practice and industry. They have also spent much of this time coaching and assisting practice teams in transitioning toward low-stress handling methods and higher standards of care. In 2023, Dr Channy successfully achieved Membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Surgeons Behaviour Chapter.

Currently, Dr Channy works one day per week at Melbourne University in a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion role. They also serve as the Vice President of Veterinary Kaleidoscope and the Treasurer/Sponsorships Officer of Australian Rainbow Vets and Allies.
