Getting to the Melbourne Cat Lovers Festival
The festival will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds on Epsom Road, conveniently located 7km from Melbourne CBD and just 15 minutes from Melbourne Airport.
Whether you’re travelling by public transport, taxi, or car, getting to the festival is simple and hassle-free.
Public Transport
A direct train service and additional trams will make your journey easy.

Saturday & Sunday Services
From 8:15am – Every 30 minutes
From 10:15am – Every 40 minutes
Last train departs Showgrounds: approx. 5:50pm
(Return services stop at North Melbourne, then Southern Cross. For connections to Flinders Street via the City Loop, change at North Melbourne or Southern Cross.)

Tram
Replacement buses will run between Stop 20 (Melrose St & Flemington Rd) and Stop 9 (Howard St & Victoria St) to get you from the city to the Showgrounds.

Route 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds): Stops on Langs Road.
Route 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds): Stops at Epsom and Ascot Vale Roads.

Traffic management marshals will guide you to the closest available car park.
