Located just 7km from Melbourne CBD and 15 minutes from Melbourne Airport, Melbourne Showgrounds is easily accessible by public transport or car.<\/p>\n

Please note: we are finalising car parking and express train optiuons to hte Festival, we will annoucne further details on these options closer to the Festival.<\/p>\n

By Car<\/h3>\n

Address<\/strong>: Epsom Rd, Ascot Vale VIC 3032. See Google map<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Melbourne Showgrounds provides limited onsite parking for events. Please check the details of your event via the event calendar prior to arrival for entry gates and parking costs.<\/p>\n

Please note some of these options will book out on\u00a0selected days<\/strong> – so book early (within one month of the festival) to avoid disappointment.<\/p>\n

By Public Transport<\/h3>\n

Please see details below and we recommend you also visit the Public Transport Victoria<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for the most up-to-date information on transport advice on the day.\u00a0You can also plan your trip using the Journey Planner<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Arriving by Bus<\/strong>
\nBus No. 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) stops along Langs Road.
\nBus No. 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) stops on the corner of Epsom and Ascot Vale Roads.<\/p>\n

Arriving by Tram<\/strong>
\nRoute 57 tram (West Maribyrnong to Elizabeth Street, City), stops at stop 32 (Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre on Epsom Road). Please note that the previously serviced stop 33 is no longer in use. Please listen to onboard announcements or check with your tram driver.<\/p>\n

PTV has agreed to run additional Trams during the Festival times. Exact timetables will be confirmed closer to the event.<\/p>\n

Arriving by Train
\n<\/strong>Melbourne Showgrounds has its own train station that has been approved to operate for the Melbourne Dog Lovers Festival. Trains will run every 20 minutes<\/em><\/strong> with the first train arriving at 9:20am and the last train departing at 5:30pm.<\/p>\n

Trains from Flinders Street Station will stop at Southern Cross, North Melbourne and will then run express to Melbourne Showgrounds.<\/p>\n

Trains departing from the Melbourne Showgrounds will run express to North Melbourne, then stop at Southern Cross and Flinders Street Station.<\/p>\n

The exact timetable will be announced closer to the festival.<\/p>\n

By Taxi or Ride Share<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To get to the Melbourne Showgrounds, ask your taxi or ride share (e.g., Uber) driver to drop you off at Main entrance on Epsom Road.<\/p>\n

Disability Access<\/h3>\n

There are accessible toilets, ramps and lifts throughout the venue, including lift access from the car parks. If you\u2019d like to hire a wheelchair from the Melbourne Showgrounds, call their Customer Service team on<\/p>\n
