After completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with class I Honours at the University of Sydney, Dr Meredith moved to New Zealand to begin a veterinary clinical nutrition residency at Massey University. She is one of the founders of Veterinary Nutrition Group – the only company in Australia providing specialist consultancy in veterinary nutrition – and in 2023, she became a Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist.

She has a special interest in helping cats with challenging conditions like pancreatitis and diabetes, and is passionate about making feline nutrition practical, evidence-based, and – most importantly – delicious (according to the cats, of course!) She shares her home with four cats, Sprite, Gustave, Ton and Banksy, and two very patient Labradors.
