Beginning her career as a veterinary nurse, Jules has worked across general practice, emergency and intensive care, orthopaedics, and animal welfare advocacy.

She holds a Bachelor degree in Social Justice with a focus on justice for cats and human–animal relationships, and is currently completing Honours research exploring the unequal moral and legal treatment of domesticated animals within liberal democracies.

Jules is also a qualified Cat Psychologist and has become widely recognised for her compassionate approach to feline welfare, particularly in the care of senior, anxious, medical, and high-care cats. Her work combines science, behaviour, welfare, and emotional understanding to improve the lives of both cats and their humans.

Through Luxury Cat Lodge and Ninth Life Foundation, Jules is passionate about advancing feline welfare, rescue advocacy, and public education surrounding feline behaviour, enrichment, emotional wellbeing, and the deep bond humans share with cats.
