Ticketing FAQs
-
Once I have purchased my tickets where will they be sent?
Tickets will be emailed to your inbox as a link embedded in the email. Click on these links to open a blank web page and the tickets will download directly into your downloads box. If you are unable to find your confirmation email, please check your junk or spam mail folders. If you still can’t find your tickets or think you may have entered your email address incorrectly, simply contact Lup Events at: tickets@lup.events
-
Will tickets be avaliable at the door on the day?
It is highly unlikely tickets will be available for purchase at the door on Festival days due to the huge demand and a likely early sell-out – as is what happened in Melbourne in 2022. Please note that the event has a maximum visitor capacity imposed by the venue, and we also need to manage crowd numbers to ensure a positive experience for all visitors and cats.
If there are still tickets available on Festival days these will be charged at the Door Prices detailed in the table above. So, if you want to experience one of the world’s greatest feline-focussed festivals in the world right here in Melbourne, we strongly advise you pounce on tickets early to avoid sour-puss syndrome.
-
Can I come on either day with my ticket?
When you buy your ticket you will need to select which day you want to attend the Festival. Tickets are only valid for a single day entry so additional tickets are required if you would like to attend both days.
-
Can I change my tickets from Saturday to Sunday or vice versa?
Yes you can, but only if that day is not already sold out. Just complete this online form to update your ticket order,
-
Do I have to print my ticket?
No, you are not required to print your ticket. Just present your ticket for scanning at the entry, either as a printed version or the digital version on your phone for fast entry. It will then be scanned and you can enter the Festival directly.
-
I have lost my email with my tickets? Can they be resent?
Yes they can! You can request your ticket to be resent by clicking here.
-
Do you offer refunds?
We have a strict no refunds policy, so please ensure you can make the event prior to paying for your ticket(s). If your plans do change and you can’t attend, tickets are fully transferrable so feel free to pass them on to your dog-loving friends, family or work colleagues!
If you buy tickets and need to swap days, this is totally OK but only if that day is not already sold out.
-
Do you honour companion & carers cards?
Companion and Carers Cards are also welcomed. Companion card holders enter free of charge on presentation of the card. Simply purchase a ticket for the person in care. The same process applies to anyone holding a NDIS card, or those accompanied by an Auslan interpreter.
-
Do you offer pass outs?
Yes we do, please see security at the exit and they will give you a stamp so you can re-enter the Festival.
-
Cat I bring my Cat?
The Festival will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds and, for safety and hygiene reasons (of cats and humans!), visitors are not allowed to bring their feline-kids to the Festival. The Cat Lovers Festival was developed to celebrate Feline Friends and to educate, entertain and inform Cat Owners & Lovers – not Cats. Click here to view details of the Cat Welfare & Safety policy and here for the policy on ‘Bringing Cats to the event‘.
