2. EXHIBITOR PASSES

Please indicate the number of Festival passes you will require for your team. Festival passes are issued per person and are valid for both days of the Festival. Passes are not required for Bump In

Please Note: 2-3 weeks out from the Festival, you will be sent an email with a unique link for each Festival Pass for you to forward to each person requiring access to the Festival.

Passes are valid for each day of the Festival, so you only require 1 per person attending.

3. CAR PARKING PASSES

As part of your Breed Showcase stand booking you are entitled to 1 car parking passes per day for each day of the Festival (Saturday 9, & Sunday 10 March).

4. FURNITURE PACKAGE*

As part of your Breed Showcase stand booking you are entitled to up to 2 x Furniture Packages for your stand. These will be delivered to your stand during Move In.

A furniture package consists of: 1 x Trestle Table, 2 x Chairs and a Black Tablecloth.

5. CATS ATTENDING THE FESTIVAL

Please confirm approx. how many cats you will be registering to attend the Festival each day. This number can be confirmed when you register your cats for the Festival closer to the event.

All handlers bringing cats to the Festival must read, understand and sign a copy of the Animal Management (AMP) and register their dogs for the Festival. This document can be located in Section A of the Exhibitor Manual (Form 2).

Accessing the venue with Cats:

Exhibitors will have access to the loading dock between 7.30am - 9am on Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 March to unload their Cats and equipment. Volunteers will be available to assist with carrying cats & goods to your stand.

Alternatively, you can access your stand via the main foyer of the Convention Centre.

**PLEASE NOTE** Volunteers are only able to assist from the Loading Dock only, between 7.30am - 9am Saturday and Sunday.

6. INSURANCES

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS*

All Breed Showcase exhibitors must have Public Liability Insurance or they will not be allowed to enter the venue. If you are a current paid up member of FCCQ, QICC or QFA you are covered by their Public Liability Insurance. Please refer to the dropdown options below.

7. WORKPLACE HEALTH & SAFETY (WHS)

The Cat Lovers Festival recognises its moral and legal responsibility to provide a safe and healthy work environment for employees (including contractors and employees of contractors), exhibitors and visitors on-site: This commitment extends to ensuring that operations do not place the local community at risk of injury, illness or property damage. Our Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) objective is to actively work towards elimination of all incidents, injuries and fatalities. All Exhibitors, contractors, on-site suppliers and any person directly appointed to work on-site must abide by the Animal Management Plan (AMP) the Hazard and Risk Assessment (RA) that applies to the show and the WHS)requirements specified under the relevant legislation. This includes any WHS requirements published by the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) and readily available on their website. This guidance in no way attempts to replace your overriding obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 and the relevant Codes of Practice published by WorkSafe Queensland.

CHECKLIST

We are/I am compliant with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (QLD) and Regulations 2011 (QLD), the relevant Codes of Practice published by WorkSafe Queensland and any amendments and statutory reviews.
We/I will provide copies of our OH&S Policies and Procedures within 7 days of a request to do so.
All high-risk activities, as described by the relevant authority, will be undertaken by appropriately licensed/ticketed/competent personnel.
We/I maintain an up-to-date licenses, training and competency register and this will be made available on request.
We/I will provide a Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for any activities considered high risk that are being undertaken by either us or an appointed supplier.
We/I confirm that our Safe Work Method Statements are undertaken in consultation with our workers and are project specific.
Prior to construction/installation we/I will undertake a Hazard/Risk Assessment and maintain a Hazard Risk Assessment register
If we are/I am involved with site/installation works we/I will participate in any site consultative arrangements.
I am aware that the Site Risk Assessment is available on request and will also be available on-site and readily accessible to myself and/or my workers.
I will ensure that my workers and I are able to fulfill any obligations contained within the Risk Management Plan.
