Queensland Feline Association (QFA) offers experienced advice to breeders and exhibitors. Potential pet buyers can check with us to find out if a breeder is registered with QFA. QFA Breeders are required to abide by the Breeders Code of Ethics – pet kittens sold by its breeders must be desexed, vaccinated and microchipped before going to their new homes. Championship cat shows are held in south east Qld and in regional Qld throughout each year providing competition under licensed judges for both pedigreed and companion cats. A special 2-DAY 6-RING SHOW with 6 overseas and interstate judges is being held at Strathpine on 23/24th March – public can visit and view the judging & talk with breeders.
